Premium License and Support Program (PLSP)

for EnCase® Forensic

 

 

Thousands of law enforcement, government, military and corporate computer investigators rely on EnCase® technology daily — it's the standard in computer forensics. But this year's success in protecting your critical data doesn't guarantee it will carry over into next year's budget. That's why we launched the Premium License Support Program (PLSP) — for guaranteed coverage at a reduced cost. This special program is available for law enforcement and government agencies only.

For many agencies, software purchases do not directly align with departmental budget cycles, and budget is not there when you need it. Investigators are often required to fill out time-consuming paperwork for each software upgrade or module purchase, or written justification to purchase software upgrades prior to approval and funding. It makes for a burdensome, time-consuming and expensive procurement process.

 

PLSP solves this by helping you align software expenditures to yearly budgets while reducing the amount of time you spend to purchase software. PLSP, active for three years from the date of purchase, includes:

 

  • Technical support during the three-year duration of the PLSP subscription
  • New versions released during the three-year subscription period (i.e., EnCase® Forensic Version 7)

 

PLSP may only be purchased for a current version of EnCase Forensic, and it must be used with the associated EnCase® Forensic security key (dongle) ID number. Customers who have already purchased the EnCase® Forensic Professional Suite or individual EnCase® Forensic modules will receive credit toward the purchase price of PLSP.

 

Note: All EnCase® Forensic modules and features will continue to function at the end of the subscription
